Welcome to Westfarthing Farm-- Home of
happy sheep, who are merrily growing their
wonderful wool for all fiber artist.

We are located in the mountains of Central New
Mexico in southern historic Santa Fe County.
Being at an elevation of 7000 feet we experience
cold, snowy winters and mild warm summers.

We strive to give our flock of natural colored and
white,
Corriedale, Lincoln, Shetland Sheep and Angora
goats the best of care. Our goal is to offer quality
hand spinning fleece and products produced
from our fleece. We offer sheep with correct
body type and excellent fleece with 4 to 5 inch
staple length. Our Corriedale fleece range from
medium to medium fine in grade. Our Lincoln
sheep have a longer staple length, that is
lustrous and medium in grade. Shetlands are a
smaller breed and as a result have fleeces that
range from 2 to 5 pounds.

Our sheep are always covered from about 4
weeks of age. This insures a very clean raw
fleece, which we heavily skirt.  We are spinners,
weavers, knitters and we use our own wool.
